Jose Payot vs Jack Bagay

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-Cebu promoted show at Lapu-Lapu Noa, Lapu-Lapu,  taking place on 16/04/2040:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IBC, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jose Payot (31(2) - 12(8) - 1) who hails from Quezon City, Philippines and Jack Bagay(20(13) - 7) from Cebu City, Philippines.  Payot weighed in at 111 pounds and 8 ounces, while Bagay weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Ramon, and the three ringside judges are Fanuco Cabili, Carlos Dimanlig and Stuart Magpatoc.  

Round 1: 

Payot steps inside and digs in a left hook to Bagay's liver.

Bagay tries to land a right hook, but Payot blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Bagay pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a cross.

Payot lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Payot advances into close range.  Bagay is on target with a stinging right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Payot lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Payot hits home with a cross.

Bagay knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Bagay lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  Payot now seems to have his senses back.  
Bagay lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Bagay cuts off the ring, trapping Payot on the ropes.  Bagay lands a right uppercut to the body, a cross to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Payot closes the distance and digs in a right hook to Bagay's ribcage.  
Payot is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Bagay dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Bagay lands a cross to the head, a right hook to the body and a cross to the head.  
Payot throws a left hook, but Bagay clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks Bagay's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Bagay feints a left hook, and then lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND DROPS PAYOT!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Payot cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Bagay!
