Juan Bustillos vs Jose Melero

Boxing Daily Report from the Jaromir Dobroniecki promoted show at Palacio de los Deportes Carlos "El Famoso" Hernández, San Salvador,  taking place on 03/05/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the El Salvador Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Juan Bustillos (19(13) - 4(1)) who hails from San Miguel, El Salvador and Jose Melero(16 - 9(2) - 4) from San Miguel, El Salvador.  Both Bustillos and Melero weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Francisco Palacios, and the three ringside judges are Juan Navar, Carlos Madera and Oihane Uriarte.  

Round 1: 

Melero tries to land a jab, but Bustillos sidesteps and counters with a solid left uppercut.

Melero throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Bustillos tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Melero is looking to close the distance and forces Bustillos to retreat onto the ropes.  Bustillos lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.
