Hanu Poihipi vs Roger Pakau

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at North Shore Stadium, Auckland,  taking place on 14/04/2040:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the New Zealand Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV One, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Hanu Poihipi (21(8) - 2(1)) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Roger Pakau(19(1) - 2(2)) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Poihipi weighed in at 199 pounds And 7 ounces, while Pakau weighed in at 199 pounds And 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Cole Hathorn, and the three ringside judges are Ollie Scobie, Paul Vaux and Ian Laidler.
