Louis Powell vs Steven Igo

Boxing Daily Report from the Alhassan Promotions promoted show at Perth Cochrane, Perth,  taking place on 15/04/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Western Australia Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Louis Powell (8 - 3(1) - 1) who hails from Perth, Australia and Steven Igo(31(26) - 2) from Perth, Australia.  Both Powell and Igo weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ashley Alekhine, and the three ringside judges are Ben Banis, Harry Salmond and Matt Dickins.  

Round 1: 

Igo advances into close range and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Igo hits home with a firm right hook.  Igo clinches his opponent.  Igo pushes his forearm into Powell's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Igo lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Igo holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Igo pushes his forearm into Powell's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Igo to stop fouling.  
Igo pivots from in front of his opponent.  Igo throws a left uppercut, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Igo clinches his opponent.  Igo leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Powell connects with a cross.  Powell tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to Powell's body.  
Igo steps inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  
Powell switches the action to the outside and strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Powell throws a right hook, but Igo clinches his opponent.  Igo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Igo is on target with a right uppercut to Powell's ribcage.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Powell dabs at his face checking for damage.
