Lee Hom vs Xing-fu Kiang

Boxing Daily Report from the Quatey Promotions promoted show at Gao Shieh Gym, Kunming,  taking place on 19/04/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the China-Yunnan Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lee Hom (33(3) - 8 - 1) who hails from Kunming, China and Xing-fu Kiang(16(5) - 7) from Kunming, China.  Hom weighed in at 125 pounds and 8 ounces, while Kiang weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dewei Sun, and the three ringside judges are Deshi Truong, Hsin Liao and Hui-chao Kau.  

Round 1: 

Kiang connects with a cross.  
Kiang slams a big left hook into his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE HOM WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Kiang walks Hom down, trapping him on the ropes.  Some sustained pressure from Kiang could be enough to finish Hom!  Kiang lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.  He continues the combination and lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body, AND SENDS HOM TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Hom now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.
