Jasper Claude vs Leighton Newman

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Alberta promoted show at Calgary Ruxton, Calgary,  taking place on 20/04/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Alberta Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jasper Claude (16 - 25(2) - 4) who hails from Edmonton, Canada and Leighton Newman(18 - 17 - 1) from Calgary, Canada.  Claude weighed in at 168 pounds, while Newman weighed in at 167 pounds And 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Oscar Lewis, and the three ringside judges are Theo Kimmons, Zachary Sinton and Chris Bach.  

Round 1: 

Newman quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a cross.
