Juan Escovedo vs Aimon Ferra

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Brazil-Sao Paulo promoted show at Campinas Celeste, Campinas,  taking place on 13/05/2040:

Clearly AI Brazil-Sao Paulo have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Escovedo (22(17) - 0) who hails from Sao Paulo, Brazil and Aimon Ferra(0 - 3(1) - 1) from Fortaleza, Brazil.  Both Escovedo and Ferra weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Eloy Fidalgo, and the three ringside judges are Angel Sardinha, Gonzalo Pimentel and Lisandro Limas.  

Round 1: 

Escovedo steps away from his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Ferra steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Escovedo on the ropes.  Escovedo lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  Escovedo clinches his opponent.  Escovedo is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Escovedo to stop fouling.

Ferra is looking to close the distance and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Escovedo is on target with a left hook to Ferra's body.  
Escovedo throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Escovedo clinches his opponent.  Escovedo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Escovedo pushes his forearm into Ferra's face.  The referee warns Escovedo and breaks the clinch.  
Ferra feints a jab, but Escovedo ignores the feint and is on target with a left uppercut to Ferra's ribs.  
Escovedo switches the action to the outside and lands a hard jab.  
Ferra forces Escovedo to retreat onto the ropes.  Ferra quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Escovedo hits home with a hard jab.  
Ferra gets on the inside.  Escovedo pivots to the left of his opponent.  Escovedo SLAMS a WICKED left uppercut into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE FERRA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Escovedo holds on to his opponent.  Escovedo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  Ferra quickly recovers. 
Escovedo steps away from his opponent.  Escovedo drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Ferra attempts to land a jab, but Escovedo sidesteps and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Escovedo feints a cross, and then lands with a spiteful jab.  
Escovedo pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Ferra manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Escovedo lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Escovedo sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Ferra advances into close range.  Escovedo backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Ferra throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Escovedo is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Escovedo tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a jab.  
Escovedo finds the target with a jab.  
Escovedo hits home with a hard jab.  
Escovedo is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.

Escovedo switches the action to the outside.  Ferra is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Escovedo lands an overhand right to the head, a cross to the body and a jab to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Ferra quickly recovers.

Escovedo tries to step out of his opponents range.  Escovedo is looking to force the stoppage!  Escovedo lands a right hook, cross and a left hook to his opponents head, KNOCKING FERRA DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  Ferra now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.

Escovedo lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND SENDS FERRA SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He remains on the canvas as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Escovedo!
