Antonio Quiroz vs Carlos Metro

Boxing Daily Report from the Atsu Promotions promoted show at Diego Marciel Gym, Santo Domingo Norte,  taking place on 22/04/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Dominican Republic-Santo Domingo Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Antonio Quiroz (8 - 16 - 1) who hails from Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic and Carlos Metro(20(4) - 3(2)) from Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic.  Both Quiroz and Metro weighed in at 159 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Olivero, and the three ringside judges are Xeres Ceniceros, Xeres Ceniceros and Federico Francisco.  

Round 1: 

Quiroz feints a left hook, but Metro does not fall for it and responds with a left uppercut.  
Quiroz steps away from his opponent.  Metro sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Quiroz is on target with a cross.  
Metro steps inside and is on target with a right hook to Quiroz's body.  
Metro gets on the inside and walks Quiroz into the corner.  Metro digs in a powerful right hook to Quiroz's body.  QUIROZ IS HURT!  
The right shot from Metro could be enough to force the stoppage!  Metro lands a right uppercut, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES QUIROZ!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Quiroz now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Metro hits home with a solid left hook.  
Metro manouvers Quiroz into a corner.  Metro lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Quiroz pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Metro lands a jab, cross and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Metro advances into close range and lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Metro pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Quiroz steps to the outside and connects with a cross.  
Metro steps inside.  Quiroz sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Metro is on target with a powerful right hook to his opponents ribs.  QUIROZ IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  
Metro lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Metro lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Metro advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Metro is on target with a stinging left hook to Quiroz's body.  
Metro closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Metro advances into close range and manages to force Quiroz onto the ropes.  Metro lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

Quiroz pivots to the side of his opponent.  Quiroz throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Metro gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Metro lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Metro sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Quiroz is looking to keep his distance and tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Metro lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Metro closes the distance.  Metro sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Quiroz tries to land a right hook, but Metro parries the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Metro pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Metro lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Metro lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.
