Joel Afful vs Max Apea

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Northern Ghana promoted show at Sammy Rahman Gym, Tamale,  taking place on 22/04/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Northern Ghana Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joel Afful (6 - 7) who hails from Tamale, Ghana and Max Apea(12 - 0 - 1) from Tamale, Ghana.  Both Afful and Apea weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Obiajulu Alhassan, and the three ringside judges are Antwan Asamoah, Rich Burja and Tamarius Moyoyo.  

Round 1: 

Apea steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.
