Theo Mailer vs Mike Waterston

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Christchurch Pennison, Christchurch,  taking place on 28/04/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Canterbury Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Theo Mailer (10 - 3(1)) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Mike Waterston(8 - 10(1) - 5) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Mailer weighed in at 127 pounds, while Waterston weighed in at 126 pounds.    As Mailer came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Dave Pera, and the three ringside judges are Robert Lawman, Joshua Dallis and Ian Fergerson.
