Francisco Palacios vs Oro Varona

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Sofi Stadium, Los Angeles,  taking place on 26/05/2040:

Clearly Gold Coast Boxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Americas Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Francisco Palacios (12(6) - 0) who hails from Torreon, Mexico and Oro Varona(24(21) - 4(2) - 1) from Choloma, Honduras.  Both Palacios and Varona weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Keay, and the three ringside judges are Jasper Fairlie, Dylan Nield and Bart Craw.
