Mason Breckon vs Verdun Lucas

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Colisee de Quebec, Quebec City,  taking place on 26/05/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mason Breckon (9(5) - 0) who hails from Halifax, Canada and Verdun Lucas(6 - 12(4) - 2) from Montreal, Canada.  Both Breckon and Lucas weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Germain Baute, and the three ringside judges are Nicholas Prior, Louis Gillespie and Mason Leblanc.  

Round 1: 

Lucas is on target with a cross.  
Breckon advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  Breckon holds on to his opponent.  Breckon uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Lucas behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Breckon to stop fouling.  
Lucas throws a left hook, but Breckon ties up his opponent.  Breckon is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Breckon to stop fouling.  
Breckon manages to force Lucas onto the ropes.  Breckon throws a right hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Breckon holds on to his opponent.  Breckon leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Breckon lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Breckon is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Breckon closes the distance and is on target with a left hook to Lucas's liver.  
Breckon lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Lucas recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Breckon sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Lucas throws a left uppercut, but Breckon holds on to his opponent.  Breckon leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Lucas attempts to land a cross, but Breckon blocks the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Breckon advances into close range and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Breckon steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Breckon lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Breckon lands a left uppercut to the body followed by two right hook's to the head.  Breckon clinches his opponent.  Breckon leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Breckon lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Breckon lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Lucas's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Lucas's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Lucas's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Breckon lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Breckon ties up his opponent.  Breckon leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  

Lucas digs in a right hook to Breckon's body.  
Breckon steps inside and drives a left hook into Lucas's body.  
Breckon hits home with a left hook.  As Lucas tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Breckon dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Breckon connects with a FEROCIOUS left hook.  LUCAS WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Lucas almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Breckon is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Breckon advances into close range and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Breckon lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Breckon throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Breckon cuts off the ring, trapping Lucas in the red corner.  Breckon digs in a right hook to Lucas's body.  Breckon holds on to his opponent.  Breckon leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Breckon lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Breckon lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Breckon ties up his opponent.  Breckon tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Lucas's kidney. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Breckon to stop holding.  Lucas almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Breckon lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Breckon ties up his opponent.  Breckon is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Breckon to stop holding.  
Lucas digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Lucas steps inside.  Breckon lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Breckon lands a mean left hook.  LUCAS IS HURT!  
Lucas could be stopped here, if Breckon can find the right shot!  Breckon EXPLODES a FEROCIOUS right uppercut into his opponents face.  DOWN GOES LUCAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  Lucas now seems to have his senses back.  
Breckon connects with a telling left uppercut.  LUCAS IS HURT!  Lucas almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Breckon is on target with a left hook to Lucas's body.  
Breckon gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Breckon is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.
