Gerd Van Eecke vs Huib Meinhut

Boxing Daily Report from the Abdulyan Promotions promoted show at The Hague de Baertmaeker, The Hague,  taking place on 30/04/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Netherlands-South Holland Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gerd Van Eecke (4 - 5(1) - 2) who hails from Rotterdam, Netherlands and Huib Meinhut(4 - 3(1) - 1) from Rotterdam, Netherlands.  Van Eecke weighed in at 174 pounds and 11 ounces, while Meinhut weighed in at 175 pounds and 15 ounces.    As Meinhut came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Edgard Ficket, and the three ringside judges are Voet Willaert, Regter Van den Hauwe and Jacques Meynfroot.
