Joshua Brand vs Paul Mattison

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Pennsylvania promoted show at Allentown Firth, Allentown,  taking place on 05/05/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Mid Atlantic Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joshua Brand (10(2) - 2 - 1) who hails from Baltimore, USA and Paul Mattison(21 - 16(5) - 6) from Philadelphia, USA.  Both Brand and Mattison weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Beall, and the three ringside judges are Sam Fenty, Rob Eynon and Colin Blood.  

Round 1: 

Mattison manages to force Brand onto the ropes.  Mattison sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Mattison tries to land a cross, but Brand slips the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Brand steps inside and is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents liver.  
Brand connects with a stinging right hook.  Brand clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Brand pushes his forearm into Mattison's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Brand steps inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Brand clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Brand pushes his forearm into Mattison's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Brand.  
Mattison quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Brand connects with a left hook.
