Robert Grant vs Ian Kettles

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Colorado promoted show at Colorado Springs Cowden, Colorado Springs,  taking place on 03/05/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Colorado Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Robert Grant (27 - 27(6) - 5) who hails from Lakewood, USA and Ian Kettles(25(2) - 8(2) - 3) from Fort Collins, USA.  Both Grant and Kettles weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Picard, and the three ringside judges are Mark Brimer, Chris Navin and Dave Blackard.  

Round 1: 

Grant is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Kettles feints a cross, fooling Grant into throwing a left uppercut counter.  Kettles avoids the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

As Kettles tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Grant dabs at his face checking for damage.
