Mervyn McCoig vs Michael Owen

Boxing Daily Report from the HBLUE Promotions promoted show at Motorpoint Arena, Cardiff,  taking place on 21/05/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the British-Wales Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mervyn McCoig (9 - 2) who hails from Cardiff, UK and Michael Owen(10 - 3) from Cardiff, UK.  Both McCoig and Owen weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark MacNevin, and the three ringside judges are Dale Carrick, Yasin Ozer and Gethin Kerrigan.  

Round 1: 

Owen steps inside and walks McCoig down, trapping him in the corner.  Owen is on target with a right uppercut.
