John Taggart vs Rocco Palagi

Boxing Daily Report from the Bones promoted show at New York City Pagan, New York City,  taking place on 06/05/2040:

Clearly Bones have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-New York State Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Taggart (22 - 17(1) - 9) who hails from Syracuse, USA and Rocco Palagi(18 - 21(2) - 3) from New York City, USA.  Both Taggart and Palagi weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Neil Sneddon, and the three ringside judges are Richard Mathieson, Kris Greeson and Mike Rodden.  

Round 1: 

Palagi gets on the inside.  Palagi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a right hook to Taggart's ribs.  
Taggart digs in a left hook to Palagi's liver.  
Taggart tries to keep the action at long range and connects with a cross.  
Palagi feints a cross, and then is on target with a cross.  
Palagi gets on the inside and hits home with a right hook.

Palagi drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Taggart connects with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Taggart's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Palagi's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.
