John Dewart vs Brendan Badder

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Bob Martinez Sports Center, Tampa,  taking place on 16/06/2040:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are The Dart John Dewart (10(6) - 0) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Brendan Badder(13 - 14(3) - 8) from Atlanta, USA.  Dewart weighed in at 159 pounds and 15 ounces, while Badder weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zachary Headden, and the three ringside judges are Robert Armstrong, Glynn Mescall and Edmundo Celio.  

Round 1: 

Dewart steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Dewart holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Dewart pushes his forearm into Badder's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Dewart about fouling.  
Badder now seems to have got his legs back.  
Badder steps to the outside.  Dewart lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Dewart advances into close range and throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Dewart ties up his opponent.  Dewart pushes his forearm into Badder's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Dewart about fouling.  
Dewart is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Dewart hits home with a sharp cross.

Badder tries to keep the action at long range.  Dewart lands with a stiff jab.  
Dewart pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Badder recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Dewart is looking to close the distance and manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Dewart lands two left uppercuts to the body, and one to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Badder quickly recovers. 
Badder pivots from in front of his opponent.  Dewart is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Dewart gets on the inside and connects with a left uppercut.  Dewart throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Dewart lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head, AND DOWN GOES BADDER!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  Dewart holds on to his opponent.  Dewart leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Dewart's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Badder quickly recovers. 
Dewart closes the distance and connects with a solid right hook.  Dewart clinches his opponent.  Dewart tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Badder's kidney. Dewart leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Dewart SLAMS a WICKED left hook into his opponents face.  BADDER IS HURT!  
Dewart is looking to force the stoppage!  Dewart lands a double left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS BADDER TO THE CANVAS!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Dewart!
