Hernan Ruvalcaba vs Carlos Merlo

Boxing Daily Report from the The New Pearls Boxing promoted show at Nemesio Villarroel Gym, Havana,  taking place on 22/05/2040:

Clearly The New Pearls Boxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cuba-Havana Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hernan Ruvalcaba (6 - 10 - 10) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Carlos Merlo(8 - 16(1) - 3) from Havana, Cuba.  Ruvalcaba weighed in at 125 pounds and 10 ounces, while Merlo weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Valenciano, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Limas, Desiderio Villavicencio and Ponce Barro.
