David Doyle vs Paul Gollon

Boxing Daily Report from the F promoted show at Norwich Evans, Norwich,  taking place on 18/05/2040:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the British-Central England Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Doyle (20(10) - 5(1)) who hails from Liverpool, UK and Paul Gollon(6 - 7(2) - 1) from Birmingham, UK.  Doyle weighed in at 153 pounds and 3 ounces, while Gollon weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Harry Seward, and the three ringside judges are Andy Dudgeon, Owen Wallace and Sam Solomon.  

Round 1: 

Doyle lands a potent left hook.  GOLLON IS HURT!  Gollon recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Gollon gets on the inside.  Doyle throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Doyle ties up his opponent.  Doyle is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Doyle is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Doyle to stop fouling.  
Doyle steps to the outside.  Doyle feints a jab, tricking Gollon into launching a right uppercut counter.  Doyle springs the trap, countering with  a stinging cross.  
Gollon is on target with a jab.  
Doyle lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Doyle ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Gollon pushes his forearm into Doyle's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Doyle feints a jab, and then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Gollon almost instantly gets his legs back.

Gollon advances into close range.  Doyle lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head, AND SENDS GOLLON TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Gollon cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Doyle!
