Carlos Betancourt vs Diego Interiano

Boxing Daily Report from the Micah Promotions promoted show at Andam Gym, Belem,  taking place on 21/05/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Brazil-Para Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Esporte Interativo, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlos Betancourt (9 - 12(1) - 3) who hails from Belem, Brazil and Diego Killer Interiano(48(18) - 14(10)) from Belem, Brazil.  Betancourt weighed in at 121 pounds and 7 ounces, while Interiano weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bronco Raposa, and the three ringside judges are Bronco Nora, Pancho Rafael and Santiago Parra.  

Round 1: 

Interiano closes the distance and digs in a left hook to Betancourt's body.

That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

Interiano advances into close range and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Betancourt recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
