Rehman Imanov vs Lazar Mamedbekov

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Our Ladys Hall, Dublin,  taking place on 10/05/2040:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Rehman Imanov (4(1) - 0) who hails from Tabriz, Iran and Lazar Mamedbekov(37(1) - 11(2)) from Dushanbe, Tajikistan.  Imanov weighed in at 200 pounds, while Mamedbekov weighed in at 200 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mark McClellan, and the three ringside judges are Mike Green, Liam Healey and Eoghan Markey.  

Round 1: 

Imanov lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Mamedbekov switches the action to the outside.  Mamedbekov quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Imanov lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Imanov gets on the inside and lands a solid left hook.  
Imanov lands a cross.  Imanov attempts to land a cross, but Mamedbekov sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Mamedbekov finds the target with a jab.

Mamedbekov throws a right hook, but Imanov clinches his opponent.  Mamedbekov is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Imanov lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Imanov is on target with a firm right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Imanov steps inside and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Imanov lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Imanov tries to land a left hook, but Mamedbekov sidesteps and counters with a left hook.

Imanov gets on the inside and is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Imanov steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Imanov walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Imanov knows Mamedbekov is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Imanov is on target with a potent right uppercut to Mamedbekov's ribs.  MAMEDBEKOV IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  
Imanov lands a left uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.  He then lands a right uppercut to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.  Mamedbekov now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Imanov connects with a solid left uppercut.  
Imanov lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Imanov steps inside and throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Imanov clinches his opponent.  Mamedbekov uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Imanov behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Mamedbekov.  
Imanov is on target with a big left hook.  MAMEDBEKOV IS HURT!  Mamedbekov almost instantly gets his legs back. 
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Mamedbekov's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Mamedbekov throws a right hook, but Imanov holds on to his opponent.  Imanov pushes his forearm into Mamedbekov's face.  The referee warns Imanov and breaks the clinch.  
Imanov sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Mamedbekov attempts to land a right hook, but Imanov blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.
