Manuel Cava vs Ian Heatley

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Our Ladys Hall, Dublin,  taking place on 10/05/2040:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Manuel Cava (10(7) - 0) who hails from Córdoba, Argentina and Ian Heatley(23(4) - 11(9)) from Manchester, USA.  Cava weighed in at 160 pounds, while Heatley weighed in at 159 pounds And 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mark McClellan, and the three ringside judges are Mike Green, Liam Healey and Eoghan Markey.  

Round 1: 

Heatley quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Cava advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Heatley feints a jab, and then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Cava gets on the inside and drives a stinging left hook into Heatley's body.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Heatley has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  Heatley recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Cava pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook.
