John Wight vs Robert Cameron

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Sofi Stadium, Los Angeles,  taking place on 23/06/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Southern John Wight (52(40) - 2 - 2) who hails from New Orleans, USA and Robert Cameron(19 - 10(5) - 1) from Chicago, USA.  Both Wight and Cameron weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Evans, and the three ringside judges are Sean Bowens, Sam Leamon and Billy Fergusson.  

Round 1: 

Cameron is looking to close the distance and hits home with a right hook.  
Cameron closes the distance and connects with a left hook.  Cameron throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm right hook.

Cameron wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Wight dabs at his face checking for damage.

Cameron is looking to close the distance and walks Wight down, trapping him on the ropes.  Cameron lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.

Cameron quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Wight lands an overhand left.  
Wight lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Wight lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Cameron gets on the inside.  Wight connects with a right hook.

Wight switches the action to the outside.  Cameron finds the target with a hard jab.

Wight tries to step out of his opponents range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Cameron voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Wight accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Cameron.  
Cameron steps inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Cameron closes the distance.  Wight crashes a spiteful right hook to Cameron's body.  CAMERON IS HURT!  Cameron quickly recovers. 
Wight sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Cameron advances into close range and digs in a left hook to Wight's ribs.  
Wight is looking to keep his distance.  Cameron lands a spiteful jab.  
Wight sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two overhand rights followed by a cross to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Wight knows Cameron is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Wight lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head, AND CAMERON IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Wight!
