Gianmarco Caira vs Silvano Neri

Boxing Daily Report from the Sikatana Promotions promoted show at Palermo De Rossi, Palermo,  taking place on 25/05/2040:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Italy-Sicily Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gianmarco Caira (17 - 5 - 7) who hails from Palermo, Italy and Silvano Neri(18 - 13 - 9) from Catania, Italy.  Both Caira and Neri weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Francesco Basini, and the three ringside judges are Gianmarco Folena, Leonardo Bartolini and Valentino Spataro.  

Round 1: 

Caira is looking to keep his distance and throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook to Caira's ribcage.  
Caira closes the distance.  Neri lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Caira's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Neri's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.

Caira quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Caira dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Caira switches the action to the outside and snaps his opponents head back with a stiff jab.  
Neri pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a right uppercut.  
Caira is looking to close the distance and tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Caira drives a left uppercut into Neri's body.  
Neri lands a right hook.  
Caira goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Neri's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Caira's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Neri's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.
