Juan Palomares vs Ricardo Meraz

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Distrito Federal promoted show at Mexico City Bega, Mexico City,  taking place on 27/05/2040:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Distrito Federal Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Palomares (12 - 8 - 9) who hails from Mexico City, Mexico and Ricardo Meraz(3 - 4 - 2) from Mexico City, Mexico.  Palomares weighed in at 167 pounds and 11 ounces, while Meraz weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Senon Piedrahita, and the three ringside judges are Juan Morena, Santiago Yanes and Joaquin Matias.
