Alastair Ojwang vs Keshawn Maingi

Boxing Daily Report from the Konga Promotions promoted show at Nairobi Kabando, Nairobi,  taking place on 28/05/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Nairobi Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alastair Ojwang (12 - 10 - 2) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Keshawn Maingi(11 - 9 - 2) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Ojwang weighed in at 146 pounds And 10 ounces, while Maingi weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Shaun Arusei, and the three ringside judges are Stuart Lone, Salim Kosgei and Paul Chelanga.  

Round 1: 

Maingi advances into close range.  Maingi throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Ojwang to the neutral corner.  He warns Maingi to stop fouling or he'll lose a point.
