Cruz Matos vs Jose Torres

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Mexico State promoted show at Jax Lusco Gym, Tlalnepantla,  taking place on 28/05/2040:

Clearly AI Mexico-Mexico State have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Mexico State Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cruz Matos (11 - 22(2) - 3) who hails from Nezahualcoyotl, Mexico and Jose Torres(10 - 12(1) - 3) from Nezahualcoyotl, Mexico.  Both Matos and Torres weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oleos Laguardia, and the three ringside judges are Jose Saiz, Rico Estopinal and Dario Montes.  

Round 1: 

Torres steps inside.  Torres attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Matos time to recover.  
Matos steps inside and attempts to land a right hook, but Torres slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
