Akira Kawaguchi vs Satoru Yano

Boxing Daily Report from the Ayim Promotions promoted show at Saitama Sato, Saitama,  taking place on 29/05/2040:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Saitama Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Akira Kawaguchi (2 - 9 - 2) who hails from Saitama, Japan and Satoru Yano(15 - 20 - 4) from Koshigaya, Japan.  Both Kawaguchi and Yano weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ichiro Mizuno, and the three ringside judges are Eiji Kawashima, Satoru Matsui and Ichiro Tsuchiya.  

Round 1: 

Kawaguchi steps to the outside and hits home with an overhand right.  
Yano pivots to the side of his opponent.  Yano attempts to land a cross, but Kawaguchi slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Kawaguchi sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Yano steps inside and lands a left hook.  
Kawaguchi steps away from his opponent.  Yano feints a jab, tricking Kawaguchi into throwing a right uppercut counter.  Yano springs the trap, countering with  a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kawaguchi's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Kawaguchi's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Kawaguchi throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Yano connects with a cross.  
Yano steps inside.  Yano sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Yano voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Kawaguchi accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Yano.
