Joe Saucerman vs John Neave

Boxing Daily Report from the The wright promotion promoted show at Club Famous, Kingston,  taking place on 30/05/2040:

Clearly The wright promotion have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joe Saucerman (6 - 0 - 1) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and John Neave(2 - 3(1)) from New Kingston, Jamaica.  Both Saucerman and Neave weighed in at 146 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Matthew Christopher, and the three ringside judges are Geoff Torrence, Sid Eddie and Ian Don.  

Round 1: 

Saucerman steps inside and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Neave throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Saucerman tries to keep the action at long range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Neave attempts to land a jab, but Saucerman dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Saucerman gets on the inside and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Saucerman voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Neave is whaling away with hooks, but Saucerman keeps his defence tight.

Neave is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross.  
Saucerman connects with a left uppercut.  Saucerman wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Neave has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused bad swelling  around the left eye.  
Saucerman is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Neave pivots from in front of his opponent.  Saucerman drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.
