Alik Prosvirnin vs Melor Tarasov

Boxing Daily Report from the Lupyan Promotions promoted show at Rostov-on-Don Kuznetsov, Rostov-on-Don,  taking place on 02/06/2040:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Russia-Rostov Oblast Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alik Prosvirnin (15 - 9 - 1) who hails from Shakhty, Russia and Melor Tarasov(9 - 10(1) - 1) from Rostov-on-Don, Russia.  Both Prosvirnin and Tarasov weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dmitriy Yegerov, and the three ringside judges are Boris Sinitsyn, Kolya Below and Kolya Below.  

Round 1: 

Tarasov is looking to close the distance.  Prosvirnin attempts to land a left hook, but Tarasov sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Tarasov manouvers Prosvirnin into a corner.  Prosvirnin is on target with a right uppercut.  
Tarasov tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Prosvirnin steps to the outside.  Prosvirnin quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Prosvirnin throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Tarasov's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Tarasov walks his opponent into a neutral corner.  Tarasov quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Tarasov is on target with a left hook.  Tarasov throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Prosvirnin to the neutral corner.  He has a stern word with Tarasov and threatens a point deduction if continues to foul.  
Prosvirnin finds the target with a jab.
