Shin Uyeda vs Isamu Shoji

Boxing Daily Report from the Jely Pr. promoted show at Osaka Miyoshi, Osaka,  taking place on 06/06/2040:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Osaka Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Shin Uyeda (6 - 13 - 4) who hails from Toyonaka, Japan and Isamu Shoji(20 - 6 - 1) from Sakai, Japan.  Both Uyeda and Shoji weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hitoshi Amari, and the three ringside judges are Goro Tsuchida, Yoshi Nakano and Yuji Koizumi.  

Round 1: 

Uyeda hits home with an overhand right.  
Shoji feints a right, and then tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.

Shoji advances into close range and manages to force Uyeda into a corner.  Uyeda attempts to land a left uppercut, but Shoji blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Uyeda connects with a left hook.  
Shoji hits home with a cross.  
Shoji gets on the inside.  Shoji quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Uyeda.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Uyeda is looking to keep his distance.  Uyeda sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with an overhand right.  
Uyeda connects with an overhand right.  
Shoji strikes his opponents body with a cross.
