Vegas Vallez vs Edmundo Gabriel

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Mexico State promoted show at Ecatepec Hinojos, Ecatepec,  taking place on 08/06/2040:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Mexico State Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vegas Vallez (6 - 14(1) - 5) who hails from Tlalnepantla, Mexico and Edmundo Gabriel(4 - 9 - 2) from Naucalpan, Mexico.  Vallez weighed in at 139 pounds and 9 ounces, while Gabriel weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rogelio Barcelona, and the three ringside judges are Ryo Adame, Oleos Laguardia and Jose Montana.

Gabriel quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Vallez throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps.  Vallez holds on to his opponent.  Vallez uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Gabriel's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Vallez about fouling.
