Shontae Obodom vs Vince Bonsu

Boxing Daily Report from the Selasee Promotions promoted show at Accra Alhassan, Accra,  taking place on 12/06/2040:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on bTV Action, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Shontae Obodom (6 - 29 - 3) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Vince Bonsu(10 - 9(1) - 1) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Both Obodom and Bonsu weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jawad Jappa, and the three ringside judges are Sid Asiedu, Paul Tuffuor and Deion Ayew.  

Round 1: 

Obodom quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Obodom lands a right hook.  Obodom tries to land a right hook, but Bonsu blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.

It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Obodom.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
