Gareth Drennan vs Baris Ornek

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Allegiant stadium, Las Vegas,  taking place on 07/07/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Gareth the Sledge-hammer Drennan (68(44) - 6(5) - 1) who hails from Anaheim, USA and Baris Ornek(18(1) - 3(3)) from Adana, Turkey.  Drennan weighed in at 153 pounds and 14 ounces, while Ornek weighed in at 153 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Danny Doctor, and the three ringside judges are Ollie Latta, Amon Gibson and David Finnie.  

Round 1: 

Ornek throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Ornek sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Drennan lands two straights to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND DROPS ORNEK TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.

Ornek walks Drennan down, trapping him on the ropes.  Ornek attempts to land a jab, but Drennan sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Drennan lands a cross.  Drennan throws a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Ornek drives a jab into Drennan's body.  
Ornek switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Drennan sidesteps and counters with a firm right hook.  
Drennan lands a stiff jab.  
Drennan is on target with a stinging right hook to Ornek's ribcage.  
Ornek manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Ornek quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Drennan lands a jab followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!
