Clint Craddock vs Paiwai Peita

Boxing Daily Report from the Lionheart Promotions promoted show at Manukau Pihama, Manukau,  taking place on 14/06/2040:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Clint Craddock (8(3) - 5) who hails from North Shore, New Zealand and Paiwai Peita(12 - 7(1) - 1) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Craddock weighed in at 154 pounds, while Peita weighed in at 153 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Paul Vaux, and the three ringside judges are Mason Bellis, Rob Horsburgh and Kyle Stine.  

Round 1: 

Craddock lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Peita attempts to land a jab, but Craddock dodges the shot and counters with a firm left hook to Peita's body.  
Craddock steps inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Craddock clinches his opponent.  Craddock pushes his forearm into Peita's face.  The ref breaks Craddock's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Peita is looking to keep his distance.  Craddock sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Craddock closes the distance and connects with a firm right uppercut.  
Peita tries to step out of his opponents range.  Craddock lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Craddock closes the distance and connects with a left hook.  Craddock holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Craddock pushes his forearm into Peita's face.  The referee warns Craddock and breaks the clinch.  
Craddock cuts off the ring, trapping Peita in a neutral corner.  Craddock lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  Craddock clinches his opponent.  Craddock leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Craddock advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Craddock EXPLODES a FEARSOME right hook into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE PEITA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Peita quickly recovers. 
Craddock digs in a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Craddock drives a firm right hook into his opponents body.  
Craddock advances into close range.  Craddock quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Peita tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Craddock lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Peita quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Peita throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to Peita's body.  
Craddock manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Craddock lands a solid left hook.  
Craddock lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Craddock hits the target with a ramrod jab.  
Craddock sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Craddock gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Craddock pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut to Peita's ribcage.  
Craddock steps inside and lands two right uppercut's to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Craddock knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Craddock lands a big cross.  PEITA IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE IS UNABLE TO GET UP BEFORE THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Craddock!
