Cruz Cortinas vs Davie Sava

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at The Armory, Minneapolis,  taking place on 16/06/2040:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cruz Cortinas (17(13) - 0) who hails from Naucalpan, Mexico and Davie Sava(13(2) - 5(2) - 1) from Geelong, Australia.  Cortinas weighed in at 105 pounds, while Sava weighed in at 104 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Harry Streblow, and the three ringside judges are Brad Dey, Ian Soderberg and Robert Westlund.  

Round 1: 

Cortinas advances into close range and digs in a left hook to Sava's body.

Cortinas senses Sava is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Cortinas digs in a telling right uppercut to his opponents body.  SAVA HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  It looks like Sava has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
