Krystiyan Vasko vs Hiroki Otani

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Hanshin Racecourse, Takarazuka,  taking place on 06/07/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Krystiyan Vasko (0 - 0) who hails from Minsk, Belarus and Hiroki Otani(8 - 4(1) - 1) from Fujisawa, Japan.  Both Vasko and Otani weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Iwao Okazaki, and the three ringside judges are Kazuhiko Sugita, Kazuhiko Fujii and Iwao Okazaki.  

Round 1: 

Vasko lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a straight 1 - 2.  Vasko tries to land a jab, but Otani parries the shot and counters with a left hook to Vasko's body.  
Vasko hits home with a sharp cross.  
Vasko closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Otani throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Vasko gets on the inside.  Vasko pivots to the right of his opponent and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Otani steps to the outside.  Vasko lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a jab to the body followed by a overhand left to the head.  
Vasko steps inside.  Vasko sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Vasko quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by two right hook's to the head.  
Vasko pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Vasko advances into close range.  Vasko quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a stinging left hook.  
Vasko lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Vasko gets on the inside.  Vasko quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Vasko walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Vasko pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a solid right hook.  
Vasko pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Vasko quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Vasko quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Otani throws a left hook, but Vasko ties up his opponent.  Vasko leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Vasko pushes his forearm into Otani's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Otani switches the action to the outside.  Vasko lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.  
Vasko closes the distance.  Vasko pivots to the left of his opponent and lands two left hook's to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Otani quickly recovers. 
Vasko drives a stiff jab into his opponents face.  
Vasko closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Vasko holds on to his opponent.  Vasko tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Otani behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Vasko.  
Vasko throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps.  Vasko holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Vasko pushes his forearm into Otani's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Vasko manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Vasko sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Otani throws a right hook, but Vasko holds on to his opponent.  Vasko leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Vasko pushes his forearm into Otani's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Vasko quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  
Vasko lands a right uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Vasko connects with a right hook.  
Otani lands a jab.  
Vasko gets on the inside.  Vasko quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Vasko lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Vasko holds on to his opponent.  Otani leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Otani is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Otani's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Otani's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Otani's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Vasko lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Vasko advances into close range.  Vasko quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Vasko lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Vasko gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Vasko lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Vasko forces Otani to back into the ropes.  Vasko sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a forceful right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Otani could be stopped here, if Vasko can find the right shot!  Vasko lands a left uppercut, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND OTANI IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Otani now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Vasko lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Vasko pivots to the side of his opponent and finds the target with a hard jab.  
Vasko gets on the inside and is on target with a firm right hook.  Vasko ties up his opponent.  Vasko is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Vasko to stop fouling.  
Vasko hits home with a left uppercut.  
Vasko steps inside.  Vasko quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a stinging left uppercut.  
Vasko closes the distance and drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Vasko lands a solid jab.  
Vasko advances into close range and lands two left hooks followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Vasko holds on to his opponent.  Vasko hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Vasko is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Vasko lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut followed by  two straights to his opponents head, AND DROPS OTANI!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Vasko!
