Angel Trueba vs Rodrigo Francia

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Mexico State promoted show at Naucalpan Eva, Naucalpan,  taking place on 16/06/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Angel Trueba (39(20) - 6(2) - 1) who hails from Nezahualcoyotl, Mexico and Rodrigo Francia(11 - 6(1) - 2) from Nezahualcoyotl, Mexico.  Both Trueba and Francia weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Palencia, and the three ringside judges are Montenegro Trevino, Federico Villegas and Federico Maravilla.  

Round 1: 

Trueba feints a left hook, but Francia does not fall for it and responds with a left uppercut.  
Trueba advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Francia pivots to the right of his opponent.  Francia throws a left hook, but Trueba ties up his opponent.  Trueba is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Trueba's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Trueba steps inside and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Trueba walks his opponent into a neutral corner.  Trueba lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Trueba is on target with a sharp right hook to Francia's body.  
Trueba lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Trueba closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Francia could be stopped here, if Trueba can find the right shot!  Trueba digs in a firm left uppercut to Francia's liver.  DOWN GOES FRANCIA!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  It looks like Francia has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Trueba advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Francia tries to keep the action at long range and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Trueba steps inside and digs in a firm left hook to Francia's liver.  
Trueba digs in a right uppercut to Francia's body.  
Trueba gets on the inside.  Francia sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Trueba drives a left uppercut into Francia's body.  
Trueba quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and whips in a big right hook to Francia's ribcage.  FRANCIA IS HURT!  Francia quickly recovers. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Francia's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Francia's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Francia's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Trueba walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Trueba is looking to force the stoppage!  Trueba lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.

Trueba steps inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, KNOCKING FRANCIA DOWN!  The ref does not even bother with the count...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Trueba!
