Talbot Fontaine vs Oliver Mermoz

Boxing Daily Report from the Nyongo Promotions promoted show at Nice Oberlin, Nice,  taking place on 21/06/2040:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the France-Provence-Alpes-Cote dAzur Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Talbot Fontaine (7 - 12(1) - 4) who hails from Marseille, France and Oliver Mermoz(3 - 6 - 2) from Marseille, France.  Fontaine weighed in at 154 pounds and 11 ounces, while Mermoz weighed in at 154 pounds.    As Fontaine came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Marlon Pigalle, and the three ringside judges are Olier Oubre, Travis Gabriel and Hackett Claude.

Fontaine lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Fontaine.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
