Ian Lanman vs Robert Warrender

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Treasure Island Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas,  taking place on 07/06/2040:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Ian Lanman (2 - 2) who hails from Toronto, Canada and Robert Warrender(2 - 1 - 1) from Chicago, USA.  Lanman weighed in at 199 pounds and 11 ounces, while Warrender weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Amon Gibson, and the three ringside judges are Waqar Othman, Alec Rees and Emanuel Pulido.  

Round 1: 

Lanman is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Lanman clinches his opponent.  Lanman throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Lanman about fouling.  
Lanman is on target with a left hook.  Lanman holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Lanman pushes his forearm into Warrender's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Lanman to stop fouling.  
Lanman advances into close range and is on target with a right hook.

Lanman walks Warrender down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Lanman lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Lanman ties up his opponent.  Lanman leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Lanman's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Warrender sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Lanman lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Lanman gets on the inside and connects with a left hook.  
Lanman digs in a right uppercut to Warrender's ribs.  
Lanman lands a left hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Lanman dabs at his face checking for damage.

Lanman gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Lanman clinches his opponent.  Lanman tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Warrender behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.

Lanman holds on to his opponent.  Lanman leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Lanman tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Warrender's kidney. Lanman uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Warrender behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Lanman is looking to close the distance.  Warrender throws a left hook, but Lanman ties up his opponent.  Lanman leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Lanman lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Warrender quickly recovers. 
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Warrender's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Warrender's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Warrender could be stopped here, if Lanman can find the right shot!  Lanman lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DROPS WARRENDER TO THE CANVAS!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Lanman!
