Jiro Kuse vs Ichiro Yamaguchi

Boxing Daily Report from the Japanese Boxing Federation promoted show at Aki Sakamoto Gym, Takatsuki,  taking place on 26/06/2040:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Osaka Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jiro Kuse (7 - 13(4) - 1 - 1(NC)) who hails from Osaka, Japan and Ichiro Yamaguchi(2 - 2(1) - 1) from Sakai, Japan.  Both Kuse and Yamaguchi weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mitsuru Imamura, and the three ringside judges are Satoru Goda, Takeshi Katayama and Daiki Aoki.  

Round 1: 

Yamaguchi hits home with a left hook.

Yamaguchi steps inside.  Yamaguchi pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Kuse's body.  Kuse wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Yamaguchi dabs at his face checking for damage.
