Viktor Melderis vs Pyotr Zvargulis

Boxing Daily Report from the Latvia Boxing promoted show at Riga Cirpe, Riga,  taking place on 26/06/2040:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Latvia-Riga Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Viktor Melderis (11 - 10(4)) who hails from Riga, Latvia and Pyotr Zvargulis(6 - 12(2) - 1) from Riga, Latvia.  Melderis weighed in at 154 pounds, while Zvargulis weighed in at 154 pounds and 9 ounces.    As Zvargulis came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Mikhail Cers, and the three ringside judges are Andrii Priede, Aleksandr Austrinsh and Kolzak Auzkalns.
