Ian Gills vs Chris Nest

Boxing Daily Report from the Lionheart Promotions promoted show at Auckland Gillison, Auckland,  taking place on 30/06/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Gills (3 - 10(3) - 1) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Chris Nest(7 - 1) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Gills weighed in at 160 pounds and 13 ounces, while Nest weighed in at 160 pounds.    As Gills came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Matthew Chisholm, and the three ringside judges are Clinton Crail, Bryan Swineford and Mason Bellis.

Nest throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Nest holds on to his opponent.  Nest pushes his forearm into Gills's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Nest.

Gills is looking to keep his distance.  Nest throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Gills to the neutral corner.  He has a stern word with Nest and threatens a point deduction if continues to foul.
