John Cranston vs Vegas Nieves

Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at TD Gardens, Boston,  taking place on 07/07/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Cranston (17(8) - 1(1)) who hails from Boston, USA and Vegas Nieves(8(1) - 2) from Ponce, Puerto Rico.  Cranston weighed in at 140 pounds, while Nieves weighed in at 139 pounds And 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Elliot Ogle, and the three ringside judges are Mike Stobie, Oliver McCleese and Peter Cooper.

Cranston lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  He then lands a cross to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  It looks like Nieves has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
