Vicente Miers vs Juan Calvo

Boxing Daily Report from the Darbenyan Promotions promoted show at Mexico-Guerrero Gym, Acapulco,  taking place on 28/06/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Guerrero Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vicente Miers (28(5) - 13 - 2) who hails from Acapulco, Mexico and Juan Calvo(2(1) - 2) from Acapulco, Mexico.  Miers weighed in at 125 pounds And 12 ounces, while Calvo weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Sancho, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Jurado, Frisco Estremera and Alejandro Rayos.  

Round 1: 

Calvo gets on the inside.  Miers digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents ribcage.  Miers throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook to Miers's body.
