Peter Connolly vs Mark Walter

Boxing Daily Report from the Nkansah Promotions promoted show at St. Louis Strahl, St. Louis,  taking place on 04/07/2040:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Mid West Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Peter Connolly (14(2) - 6(1) - 1) who hails from St. Louis, USA and Mark Walter(22(3) - 7) from Wichita, USA.  Both Connolly and Walter weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Phil Ekberg, and the three ringside judges are Aaron Ottosen, Gethin Rodgers and Kris Hogge.  

Round 1: 

Walter closes the distance.  Walter voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Connolly is whaling away with hooks, but Walter keeps his defence tight.
