Iwao Maruyama vs Shinji Sugai

Boxing Daily Report from the Muntari Promotions promoted show at Shizuoka Osada, Shizuoka,  taking place on 28/06/2040:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Shizuoka Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Iwao Maruyama (9(1) - 2(1)) who hails from Shizuoka, Japan and Shinji Sugai(22 - 2 - 1) from Hamamatsu, Japan.  Maruyama weighed in at 168 pounds, while Sugai weighed in at 167 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Fumio Hiraoka, and the three ringside judges are Aki Isa, Yuichi Koda and Hisao Onishi.
