Joey Caulder vs Noel Ferris

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Oregon promoted show at USA-Oregon Gym, Portland,  taking place on 05/07/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Oregon Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joey Caulder (18 - 14(1) - 3) who hails from Eugene, USA and Noel Ferris(24(3) - 8(8) - 1) from Salem, USA.  Caulder weighed in at 126 pounds, while Ferris weighed in at 125 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Chris Zegarra, and the three ringside judges are Rob Tolmie, Gregor Riach and William Rosser.  

Round 1: 

Ferris advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Caulder dabs at his face checking for damage.
