Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at North Shore Stadium, Auckland,  taking place on 28/07/2040:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Oceania Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV One, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Joshua Rabbitt (25(7) - 5(1) - 1) who hails from Waitakere, New Zealand and Mark Forrest(15(7) - 1) from North Shore, New Zealand.  Both Rabbitt and Forrest weighed in at 126 pounds.

Forrest cuts off the ring, trapping Rabbitt on the ropes.  Forrest sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Rabbitt attempts to land a cross, but Forrest sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Rabbitt switches the action to the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Forrest lands a jab to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Rabbitt steps inside and throws a left hook, but is unable to find the target.  Rabbitt holds on to his opponent.  Forrest tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Rabbitt's kidney. As they grapple, Rabbitt pushes his forearm into Forrest's face.  The referee warns Rabbitt and breaks the clinch.
